Coaching for cancer survivors and carers
A cancer diagnosis can mean that the job you have done so far is longer suitable - or it no longer feels meaningful.
As a qualified career coach with first-hand experience of cancer, I can help you consider your options and discover what is right and meaningful for you at this point in your life - and what practical steps you need to take to make it happen.
If you are or have been an unpaid carer for a family member, you may also feel that there are practical or emotional reasons to start a new chapter in your career. Again, my first-hand experience of being an unpaid carer enables me to ask the right questions and accompany you on this journey.

My own journey with cancer and as a carer for my terminally ill husband made me pause when I came across the Japanese art of kintsugi – mending broken bowls with gold, resulting in something far more beautiful and valuable than the original vessel. Kintsugi is a symbol of how brokenness can lead to a new sense of meaning and inner wholeness.
The search for meaning and meaningful living can be part of your coaching experience if you like. Different people understand and define meaning in very different ways, and finding out what is truly meaningful to you can help you see the broader professional direction you want to go in.
If you want to find out more about kintsugi, why not listen to the podcast we made about it: The Spirit of Kintsugi.
